Description

The Simple Ant Black & Badger Dry Fly imitates the black ant with a badger hackle that increases its visibility. Hand-tied in Italy, it is offered in sets of 3 flies.

The segmented black body reproduces the ant, while the badger hackle (light with a dark centre) creates a bright effect that aids spotting and floatation. It is effective on trout and grayling in still and slow-flowing water. Available in hook sizes from #14 to #18.
