The Shuttle Cock Violet Curved Dry Fly is an emerger imitation on a curved hook, with an iridescent peacock quill body and squirrel thorax. Hand-tied in Italy, it is offered in sets of 3 flies.
The peacock quill body gives iridescent reflections, the squirrel thorax adds bulk and movement, and the wing tuft keeps the fly riding in shuttlecock fashion. The curved shape imitates the mayfly stuck in the hatch. Available in hook sizes from #12 to #20.
