Descrizione
Worm Mop Chenille Orange is a worm imitation tied with a special 4 mm MFC chenille, a soft, bulky material that soaks up water and pulses at the slightest pull, giving the fly an exceptionally lifelike action.
The tungsten bead gets the fly fishing straight away and holds it at the depth you want, even in current or wind. The weight at the head also gives it that rise-and-fall movement on the retrieve which so often triggers the take.
Colour Orange
Orange is an attractor colour: an excellent trigger on bright days and in slightly coloured water, and very effective on stocked rainbows.
How to fish it
- In stillwater: on a floating line with a long leader, or on an intermediate or sinking line, retrieved in slow strips with short pauses.
- Under an indicator: suspended at fishing depth, where the chenille keeps working even when the fly is static.
- In rivers: nymphed deep through pools and slower water, especially after a spate.
